AI-FOR-BUILDERS PIONEER DIGS UNVEILS EXTENSIVE EXPANSION OF PLATFORM WITH NEW COLLABORATION, PLANNING AND WARRANTY FEATURES

Digs Adds to Recent DigsCloud with DigsCanvas and DigsCare suites to deliver Scheduling, Digital Signatures, Sharing via QR Code and More

Vancouver, WA – Digs, the AI-powered collaboration platform for home builders and homeowners, today announced an array of new capabilities to help builders store and share accurate information, digitally manage and collaborate on projects with teams, and streamline post-build warranty support.

Packaged in suites aimed at specific parts of builders’ existing workflow, the new DigsCloud, DigsCanvas and DigsCare suites will be demonstrated at the International Builders Show at booth W4074 February 25-27 2025.

“This is the most consequential expansion of Digs since our debut,” says Ryan Fink, CEO and co-founder of Digs. “We’re delivering an array of new capabilities directly inspired by the frustrations of builders or gaps left in their workflow – all fortified by AI innovation everywhere it can spare builders time, cost or hassles.”

DigsCloud

First revealed in late 2024, the DigsCloud suite for file storage and management gets several new features beyond the integration with Dropbox just announced:

  • QR Codes and Public Share Links:  Builders report a key challenge is keeping on-site crews connected to up-to-date information, especially if sub-contractors or suppliers are not members of the builder’s collaboration tool.  Digs now enables the creation, sharing and printing of QR codes and links that can be posted at the job site or shared digitally to direct crew to accurate information instantly, even if they are not registered users of the Digs platform.
  • E-signatures Powered by Dropbox Sign:  As a further step in Digs’ partnership with Dropbox, DigsCloud now integrates Dropbox Sign digital signature capability so builders can secure and track approvals to contracts, change orders and more right in the collaboration tool in which those conversations take place.

DigsCanvas

DigsCanvas is a suite of features comprising core visualization and collaboration features of the existing Digs platform while adding new project planning tools:

  • Just-what-you-need Scheduling:  Scheduling of build phases and deliverables is essential to any project, but Digs clients have reported many existing tools are cumbersome.  Digs’ version of scheduling is simplified to deliver the same ease-of-use for which the platform is known.
  • Next-gen AskDigs:  The AI-powered agent analyzes the vast information uploaded to DigsCloud and delivers instant answers to natural-language questions like “what color paint is the living room?”  AskDigs now supports queries about user comments and collaboration decisions, such as “what model refrigerator did the client decide?” – producing additional time savings and improved accuracy.

DigsCare

Digs will also preview a new suite of capabilities to bring AI-powered efficiencies to a builder’s warranty support and after-care of the home.

The sneak peek of DigsCare will highlight how the platform streamlines warranty support.

  • The platform consolidates communication between builder and client into one platform, eliminating scattered emails and texts.
  • Using the digital floorplan, clients can file warranty comments and upload photos associated with the specific location of the issue.
  • Using AI, Digs consolidates warranty requests, intelligently answers routine questions, and automatically deflects inquiries that aren’t covered.
  • For qualified claims, Digs AI creates tickets and surfaces relevant information about the product and space.

South Carolina-based Front Light Building Company was an early advocate of DigsCare and has served as an Innovation Partner providing perspective to shape its development.

“Reputation is built on client experience, and that experience doesn’t end with the build,” said Matt Green, CEO of Front Light Building Company.  “We partnered with Digs to bring our values and insight to the table to help create an after-care approach that will not only boost client satisfaction but save us wasted efforts and costs at the same time.”

The Digs platform serves users in all 50 states and Canada, spanning builders, suppliers, contractors, and homeowners with projects from boutique custom builders to national developers. There are thousands of build projects on the platform, representing over $4B+ in home value.
